A VMC is a separate paid certificate from a certificate authority (e.g. DigiCert, Entrust) that proves you own the logo — SendClear generates the record, not the certificate. Gmail and a few others require one; several providers (including Apple Mail) will show the logo without it if DMARC is enforced.
